HST 2





Dip line 15 demonstrates the erosional base of the lowstand incision on the middle to outer shelf as it cuts into the prograding clinoform pattern of Hst 2. (ts = transgressive surface; 2sb = Stage 2 sequence boundary; sb2-ts = amalgamated 2sb and ts; 3mfs = Stage 3 maximum flooding surface).









Seismic line 11a is located on the outer shelf and displays the Hst 2 unit downlapping the underlying Stage 3 maximum flooding surface and underlying Stage 2 sequence boundary. (ts = transgressive surface; 2sb = Stage 2 sequence boundary; sb2-ts = amalgamated 2sb and ts; 3mfs = Stage 3 maximum flooding surface).









Seismic line 18 demonstrates the parallel to sub-parallel reflection configuration of Hst 2 in a depositional strike perspective. (ts = transgressive surface; 2sb = Stage 2 sequence boundary; sb2-ts = amalgamated 2sb and ts; 3mfs = Stage 3 maximum flooding surface).
