Line APL03






Line APL03 is a regional dip profile. It images the delta deposited between stage 5e and stage 2 (unit 1) showing a progradational center; high foreset angles (approximately 3 °); delta lobe switching; and 60 meters of seafloor relief. The older delta, deposited between stage 9 and stage 8 (unit 3), is imaged showing the transition from oblique foreset to high angle (3° to 4°) forest geometries. Also illustrated by line APL03 is onlap associated with the lowstand and transgressive systems tracts.
