Slope Fans



Three slope fans have been identified on the Texas upper slope, the Rio Grande fan, the East Breaks Slide fans and the Trinity/Sabine/Brazos fan. these fans have one important thing in common, they all occur down-dip of incised valleys associated with the larger rivers. No fans were identified on the west Florida/Alabama slope or on the central Texas slope.
